You’ll have a pretty easy time of it when trying to find a venue in this city. So if you’re around for a while, why not try a few different venues? The views are totally worth it!

2. Road Trip

If you’re staying in Melbourne, we’d absolutely suggest taking a road trip to explore some of the other amazing spots in Victoria. Melbourne is a gateway to the rest of the state, and you’ll find exploring from here, cheap and easy to do. One of the most well known Aussie road trips, is the journey along the Great Ocean Road. With the wind in your hair, a friend in the passenger seat and views of the ocean you’ll be hard pressed to find a better road tripping experience in Australia.

3. Check out Melbourne’s street art scene

4. Wilsons Promontory

For those looking to experience the nature and wildlife that Victoria has to offer, there is no better place to explore than Wilsons Promontory National Park. It’s Victoria’s largest coastal wilderness area and is packed full of things to see and do. Soak in the incredible views from around the park or take your chances at spotting a kangaroo in the wild.

5. Phillip Island

You may think to visit Philip Island to catch a glimpse of the adorable penguins that call it home. BUT it’s not just famous for these little birds. Seals are also a pretty famous face in the area and you can take part in an eco-tour to spot these playful animals.  But that’s not all. you’ll find hidden beaches and great surfing spots, as well as heaps of places to hang out and grab a bite to eat.

6. Ride a Hot Air Balloon over Yarra Valley

This is a proper pinch yourself experience and one we would absolutely recommend you do whilst in Victoria. Put your wine glass down and jump in a hot air balloon to witness breathtaking views of Yarra Valley.

7. Experience the beach life at St Kilda

Spend your day relaxing at the beach or enjoying the historic St Kilda Sea Baths. Or if you want something a little more thrilling, grab a ticket to Luna Park and jump on a rollercoaster or two. St Kilda is a great spot to enjoy a relaxed meal with friends on the seafront, so be sure to take some time to explore one of the many food outlets that line the shore.

8. Sunset at the 12 Apostles

Nothing sums up a trip to Victoria quiet like a trip to the stunning 12 Apostles. And if you’re feeling adventurous, take a sunset helicopter ride over the site, and get some amazing shots and memories to last a lifetime.

9. Discover the Grampians

Mackenzie Falls, The Balconies, Boroka Lookout and Mount Sturgeon. Just some of the highlights of visiting the Grampians National Park. This nature reserve will wow you with it’s stunning scenery and wonderful views. And hey, you may even get to see the local wildlife such as wallabies and echidnas during your visit.

10. Grab a cup of coffee (or two)

Melbourne is said to be one of the coffee capitals of the world. And it’s not hard to see why. The cities baristas are some of the most advanced and technically able in the world and the locals are pretty rebound to be fussy drinkers when it comes to the black stuff. So trust us, you’re sure to find a great cup of coffee in one of the many, many cafes around the city.
