Cerro Negro Mountain, Nicaragua

Located just outside of León, Nicaragua is Cerro Negro (Black Mountain), a volcano in the Cordillera de los Maribios mountain range. Cerro Negro is the ‘youngest’ volcano in Central America which is perfect for all you 20-something year old’s. Skateboarding down this volcano has become a popular activity, so for all you adventure seekers you can strap on a board or ride a modified sled (little piece of wood) from the top of Cerro Negro at 30mph. Nothing spells adventure than sledding down a mountain!

Naica Mine, Mexico

Naica Mine which is located in Saucillo, Mexico is a working mine famous for its remarkable crystals. Otherwise known as the crystal cave of Giants, it is approximately 1000 feet down. There is another chamber in this mine which is called as the Cave of Swords as these crystals resemble an underwater reef. Although the Naica Mine looks like you could get frost bite, the heat steadily increases as you descend the vertical drop. When inside the great palace of crystals, the pressure of intense heat create a gamut of emotions and some even say hallucinations.
