How do I check-in with American Airlines?
Like most airlines, you have different options when it comes to checking in with American. If you’re departing from the US and don’t have hold luggage, the quickest way to check-in is by using the self service kiosks in the airport. Alternatively, you can check-in at the desk - this will be necessary if you have bags to deposit. It’s recommended that for flights within the US, you arrive a minimum of 90 minutes before departure, and for all other flights, two hours before departure.
