Outlook Festival & Hideout Festival

Croatia is becoming a student destination and it is no surprise why the music festival scene is heading over there. So if you’re looking to have a bit of fun before going back to university, the Outlook Festival and the Hideout Festival is your best opportunity. With a variety of culture and genre including dance, house, raga, R&B, drum ‘n’ bass and hip pop these festivals will keep you grooving all night long. Splendour in the Grass

If you’re looking for new experiences then why not travel down under. Splendour in the Grass was created and promoted by the Village Sound to bring Australia a music and contemporary outdoor day festival that is attended by over 30,000 people. Taking place at North Byron Parklands near the hippy beachside town of Byron Bay, this is by far the biggest festival in the Aussie calendar. The Garden Festival, Tisno, Croatia

Back to Croatia, but this time for a loved up romance that last 8 days. The Garden Festival is a peaceful atmosphere that has people coming back every year. The setting couldn’t get any more perfect, with electronic bands and a backdrop of blue crystal waters and sun kissed beaches, this festival is just a short walk from the town of Tisno where you can experience the most exotic of foods. Glastonbury

Okay, I know this is technically cheating, but going to Glastonbury feels like you’re on a different planet, let alone abroad. Glastonbury is a great way to grab your friends for an action packed five day musical fiesta. Established a day after Jimi Hendrix’s death in the 1970’s, the festival has grown from £1 tickets and a glass of milk to the largest greenfield festival in the entire world and is attended by over 175,000 people. Glastonbury is all about contemporary music, dance, comedy, theatre, circus acts and other arts. You will be sure to find yourself and explore whilst camping out with other festival goers and rocking out to some great tunes. Glastonbury is always headlined by by major artists and is an event not to be missed. Although it may be over this is one festival for the history books and will forever be our number one. Get your tickets in advance as next year will be bigger and better.

Tomorrowland

Tomorrowland is an electronic music festival held in Belgium specially in the town of Boom. Having sub genres such as trance and house; it is said to be one of the biggest electronic festivals in Europe. 2014 is a great year indeed as it is their 10th anniversary so to celebrate they will be holding this amazing festival over two weekends. It is truly one of the biggest festivals in the EDM community and has one of the most extravagant layout and stage designs and if that isn’t enough to get you psyched, Tomorrowland has a variety of talented DJ’s and acts such as Afrojack that will keep you on your toes. There are almost 20 stages at Tomorrowland, each catered to a style of music and personality you are simply spoilt for choice. With up to 200,000 attendees the Tomorrowland festival is beautifully surrounded by lakes, trees and hills so you can always go for a stroll when you want to escape the partying. La Tomatina

If you like your food where you can see it then this is one festival you shouldn’t be missing. The La Tomatina in Buñol, Spain is held on the last Wednesday in August and is based on the idea of getting people together for good old laughter and fun .A few locals in 1945 began throwing fruits and vegetables during a parade and it has now become the country’s national festival so why not book your flights and accommodation with us and join in on the fun !
